Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By accessing or using UpSkillingNow at upskillingnow.com (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms form a binding agreement between you and Sancus Technologies LLC ("we", "us", "our").

2. What UpSkillingNow Does

UpSkillingNow is an AI-powered resume builder that uses Claude (Anthropic's AI) to rewrite your resume to better match a specific job description. The Service generates:

• An ATS-optimized resume in PDF and Word formats.
• A tailored cover letter.
• An ATS keyword match report.

3. Accounts and Access

You access the Service by providing your email address. We send a magic link to authenticate your session — no password is required. You are responsible for keeping your email account secure. Each email address is entitled to one free preview generation. Additional generations or clean downloads require payment.

4. Payments

Clean PDF and Word downloads are available for a one-time fee of $12 USD per resume generation. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. You will be charged at checkout. By completing payment, you agree to Stripe's terms of service.

Refunds: Because the download is a digital product delivered immediately upon payment, all sales are generally final. If you believe there is a technical issue with your download (e.g., the file is corrupted or content is missing), contact us at support@upskillingnow.com within 24 hours of purchase. Refunds are evaluated case-by-case at our sole discretion.

5. Apply-to-Jobs Service

The "Apply to Jobs" add-on service is a manual application submission service. Upon confirmed payment:

• We will submit your AI-optimized resume to the specified job position on your behalf.
• Fulfillment occurs within 48 business hours.
• We do not guarantee an interview, callback, or job placement. The service is limited to submission only.
• We are not responsible for the hiring decisions of third-party employers.

6. Resume Distribution Service

The resume distribution service (if opted into) is provided in partnership with Star Workforce Solutions, a separate entity. Distribution to recruiter networks is a lead-capture service only — it does not involve payment collection and does not guarantee placement, interviews, or responses from recruiters. Sancus Technologies LLC is not responsible for outcomes related to this distribution service.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree to use UpSkillingNow only for personal, non-commercial job-seeking purposes. You may not:

• Resell, redistribute, or sublicense any generated content.
• Use the Service to generate resumes for others on a commercial basis.
• Upload content that violates any law, infringes intellectual property, or is fraudulent.
• Attempt to circumvent the one-generation-per-account limit through fake emails or other means.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Service's systems.

8. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of your original resume content. The AI-generated output is provided to you for personal use. We retain no license to use your generated resume beyond what is necessary to operate the Service. All trademarks, branding, and code on this Site remain the property of Sancus Technologies LLC.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE AI-GENERATED CONTENT WILL BE ACCURATE, FREE OF ERRORS, OR SUITABLE FOR ANY PARTICULAR EMPLOYER OR JOB. AI OUTPUT SHOULD BE REVIEWED BY YOU BEFORE SUBMISSION. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR HIRING OUTCOMES.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SANCUS TECHNOLOGIES LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 30 DAYS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States. Disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Dallas County, Texas.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes are effective upon posting. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
